Battery information
Batteries are classed as Hazardous goods. Many postal providers such as Royal Mail and most couriers are not allowing batteries into their postal networks - failure to comply with postal restrictions can result in prosecution from the relevant companies & CAA (Civil Aviation Authority).
What this means for customers who require batteries...
It simply means that any order containing a battery will have to be sent using an appropriate approved method; usually by an accepting courier method. Postage costs can be more expensive. All of our products are offered with free shipping. However the price of the battery may seem more expensive as it incorporates this extra cost.
It also means that sometimes dispatch is slightly delayed for upto 24hrs and the delivery times maybe slightly extended depending on the courier booking.
Any items ordered with batteries will be shipped separately as normal.
